My siblings and I have enjoyed reading these books over and over throughout the years. Each one has its own unique way to retell biblical stories or teach biblical lessons through the storyline. The Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan
Known as one of the most read books after the Bible, this story will always be at the top of the list for Christian allegories. Follow Christian as he makes his journey to the Celestial City and faces trials and temptations along the way. Teaching many lessons such as forgiveness of sins, salvation, resisting temptation, and more, this book is definitely a must-read.

Each character has to face a choice in his or her life and it isn’t easy. But each one has a special calling from their King. The Kingdom Series by Chuck Black
Called ‘a medieval parallel’ to the Bible this series is sure to captivate your teens! In a battle of good vs evil, follow the characters as they realize their higher calling given to them by the King himself. Each book is full of riveting moments that call out the truth in each character. Swords, knights, and battles as well as courage, faith, and loyalty make this series come alive to the reader! Honestly this series is one of my top favorite book series for teens!

In this sequel series to The Kingdom Series, read more about individual knights and the battles they have to face. This series is even more intriguing than the previous Kingdom Series and parallels many Christian principals. Your teen will love the allegorical references in each book as they watch the characters learn and grow through their mission.
