These books were the inspiration behind my little sister learning to read at only three years old. She would sit in her high chair and ‘read’ the stacks of books from memory. When she was turning four, she requested a ‘Cat in the Hat’ birthday – all her own idea! My mom and siblings and I were so excited and had the best fun making her birthday special for her.
