I have been busy lately with many fun things, so today I am beyond thrilled to announce that I now have an Etsy store!
I am excited to make it easy for you to purchase downloadable homeschool printables to use however you’d like.
My shop – Heidi’s Basketful of Joy – is growing with all new preschool and homeschool printables that I’m sure many of you will love!
The littles that I am honored to teach have been enjoying these preschool printables I have created so I thought I would share with you. I love to put these into preschool toddler binders for them to use whenever they want to sit down and have some learning time. Little ones are excited to watch the big kids and getting them involved in these little activities as their older siblings are doing school teaches them so much. A child loves to learn to count, say their abcs, and learn their colors. Giving them a way to do it as an activity they can touch and reuse is fun and very easy to do.
I print these out on standard cardstock paper and then I laminate them or put them into a clear sheet. Then laminate and cut out the letters, numbers, shapes, or colors and add Velcro dots to the backs of these and the front of the matching sheet. This is a durable yet easy way for toddlers to take them on and off many times. Every day the little ones get out their binders and then have fun with each page – taking on and off the shapes, colors, numbers, and more – mixing them up before putting them back where they go. It is a lot of fun and they get to learn so much!
One of my favorite pages is the name page. A child is overjoyed when they get to learn their own name. Knowing the letters that go into their name thrills them and before you know it they can spell it to you! I love doing this with the little ones that I teach. They get so excited to see their names!
